Our task was to translate the game into 11 languages. Meanwhile, we were required to do everything in our power to maximally transfer the atmosphere of kindness and tenderness that prevails in Cut The Rope. We wanted for players around the globe to be able to be fully immersed in the atmosphere of the game in the company of Am Nyama, in their own native language.
A separate task was the adaptation of the name of the main character, "Om Nom", in different languages. A decision needed to be made whether to leave the name in English, or choose a similarly short-sounding name in the target languages, which at the same time would not detract from the attraction of the main character. For this project we carefully selected team of translators and editors who were familiar with a series of games from ZeptoLab and could reflect their inherent charm in translation.

Braveland Pirate - this is the final part of the trilogy 'Braveland' from the Tortuga Team. You will lead a team of fearless pirates traversing the waters of the archipelago in search of treasure. The game pleases with its updated gameplay, great graphics and soundtrack, as well as the long-awaited appearance of the hero on the battlefield. Sea battles, an army of the undead, lost islands - one will not be bored!

At the time of localization, we faced a few problems associated with the terminology.
Firstly, we had to strike a balance between the accuracy of translated terms and the 'artistry' of the translation. Localization of games in the turn-based strategy genre often requires a reliable interpretation, but excessive use can make their translation rather dry. Therefore, we were very careful in editing translated texts and conversations, so as to keep the aforementioned 'artistry' of the original.
Secondly, we needed to use skillfully pirate slang to keep the atmosphere of the game throughout the translation.
It was equally important to ensure that certain terms were transferred in the same way as in previous parts of the game, to avoid confusion. But since we were the ones to do localization of the previous installment- Braveland Wizard- this was no problem, as we relied on our accumulated glossary and translation memory.

We needed to localize the game into 12 languages. And some languages were very exotic: Amharic, Swahili, Tagalog, Persian, Malay, Romansh and others. Therefore, we carefully approached the selection of teams for translation.
It was important that interpreters would be well-versed in poker, know the rules and intricacies of the game, including the names of various card combinations. As a result, we were able to gather professionals who creatively and competently approached their task and enabled players from different countries to plunge into the atmosphere of excitement, all in their native language.
We operate with more than 30 language pairs, perform linguistic and functional testing of games on all gaming platforms, marketing testing (hall tests), and analysis of games for local markets.

The story, inspired by Tarantino's films, captures its cinematic and visual effects. The game is considered to be a cult classic, albeit being arguably one of the darkest in the action genre. The similarity of sound between the protagonist's name and the word "pain" creates a vast scope for puns, sometimes virtually untranslatable - a task that did not perturb our translators, but was rather perceived as an opportunity to demonstrate their unconditional professionalism.

A handbook on small arms and a special forces encyclopedia- that's what the localization manager needs to overcome possibly the best tactical first-person shooter ever released to date. Amongst the main advantages of the game, special mention should be made of the deep strategic multiplayer, the originality of 'game cards', and the damage mechanics.
That aside, attention should also be paid to the variety of highly unusual gadgets included in the game. Next-generation consoles make this exciting action game practically perfect.

In this regard, we were very pleased with the quality of the localization assessment of the press, but also of the players, which, as experience shows, will always find something to complain about in terms of translation.

To begin with, we had the task of translating this game to 10 languages, and due to the high frequency of updates a special emphasis needed to be placed on saved, cohesive terminology. Unlike other historical strategy games, here the authors decided to focus not so much on the historical facts, but rather the human element gained throughout the development of history. The campaign is based on a story that is likelier to be found in children's handbooks rather than serious historical encyclopedias. Thanks to this element, Age of Empires attracted not only history enthusiasts, but also casual newcomers, the latter of which it was created for, instead of for the benefit of the developers, as oft happens with strategy titles.

For us, the highlight in this game's localization was working with the sound and doing the voice-overs. It was particularly challenging for the actress who voiced the operatic diva.
The result exceeded all expectations. Pay special attention to the audio tracks, and you will appreciate the quality!

This simulator presented us with another opportunity to talk with experts from an entire field, which is considered by all rights to be the highest quality in its class. Current civil aviation pilots participated in the localization of the product, which with its high level of detail set the highest standards, not allowing for shortcuts in terminology. For the translation it was necessary to transfer the smallest of nuances, for example, things associated with standard flight physics, which made our work not only very exciting, but also informative.

Max Payne is one of our most beloved localization projects, because it was destined to completely turn around the idea of a third person shooter.

This role-playing game allows the player to actually live life from start to finish, creating and destroying a family, changing appearance, raising children, getting a profession and much more. It is possible to have two identities and become either good or bad depending on the actions performed. From this comes its epic scale: the volume of voice tracks, an endless number of characters, long texts. Once you add rich voice material (allusions, metaphors, puns), you can imagine what an impressive amount of work had to be performed.

Our translators have done the impossible - they have adapted to the local culture, with all its unique characteristics, traditions, and history. Probably largely thanks to this effort, Fable 2 was awarded the GAMELAND AWARD-2009 for "best console localization."

This simulator put a difficult task ahead of us: convey a lot of details related to the technical features of vessels, because in the disc is also included a three-dimensional encyclopedia of ships and aircraft from the period for various countries.

We were forced to attract a staff of experts for cooperation.

However, the goal more than justified the means, and as a result we have a high-quality professional translation, allowing for the full recreation of the atmosphere of a German submarine during World War II.

It is difficult to name a product with such a flurry of awards in various categories, in which so many actors took part, that they'd be the envy of any city theatre. The most intriguing gameplay feature is the possibility of hacking an electronic device, obtaining all kinds of information and control.

The number of in-game extras is staggering. Particularly noteworthy are the allusions to Assassin’s Creed IV: Black Flag. We eagerly await the sequel of this shooter in November of this year.
